This time of the year is dedicated to enjoying! Therefore, I seize every excuse to celebrate life. In addition, I look back at the last year and dream about the new.
Last year was one of the most challenging years of my life. Due to the loss of my grandmother and handling all matters regarding her death. Furthermore, due to the messy divorce of my parents after 42 years of marriage, the stroke of my mother and finishing at the second place in writing a large European tender about work ethics in the financial sector. These events had a huge impact on me: I have endured a lot of fears and nerves. I started not to see the purpose in work and life anymore and to see that again I needed to go far out of my comfort zone. I am becoming more and more aware that going out of your comfort zone is sometimes better than repeating old habits, however difficult this may be.
Eventually I have grown enormously due to these events. I feel stronger and more vibrant than ever before.
With this feeling or power I want to contribute to a better world. By helping others to overcome their fears and/or challenges that are too long in their way. So that these issues wont be a problem in the coming year.
Are you like me, and do you like to look back on 2015 and ahead to 2016? Take a look at the following questions, don’t hold back to share the answers with me if you want that (email@example.com).
If you do that, I will give you some free suggestions/tips to help you.
- What was your biggest challenge in 2015 and what wisdom has that yielded?
- What would you really like in your life and why exactly that?
- What can you do now to get closer tot he realization of that in 2016?
…difficult to answer these questions, right? I thought so too, but these questions are very important to be able to be happy in life and to decide what is important for you, and what is not. A few small exercises can help you step by step to develop answers to these questions.
The lessons that I have learned in the past year, I try to take to 2016 to make it the best year of my life. That leaves me only to thank you and wish you a prosperous 2016.
